Computer (CAD) designed and mandrel formed stainless steel piping (image 1) was fabricated for this GAC loading/unloading facility. An 8” water motivated eductor system is used to convey the powdered filter media directly from bulk delivery truck connections (image 2). The GAC is transported and deposited directly into the filter cells where a stainless steel wall washdown system reduces the loading dust with 60 degree fan nozzles (image 3).
