Kayenta Health Center

The new hospital will provide much needed services for communities who have out grown the current Indian Health Services (IHS) clinic in Kayenta. The design layout includes the expansion of all existing clinics, such as dental, optical and radiology, as well as the addition of several new departments, which include inpatient care, ambulatory surgery, wellness and physical therapy, audiology and a maternity ward. There will also be a helicopter landing pad for emergency medical flights. The expected completion date for the hospital facility is scheduled for August 2014.
